  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 220 g sugar
  • 280 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder

From a master baker who sadly passed away

Beat the eggs, vanilla sugar, and sugar for 30 minutes (!!!). Sift the flour, mix it with the baking powder, and fold it in. Grease the springform pan. Line the bottom with baking paper. Pour in the mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 50 minutes. The secret to this recipe lies in beating the egg and sugar for 30 minutes. This ensures that enough air is incorporated to create a really fluffy base.
