Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 Maultaschen
- 2 pretzel rolls (Laugenweckle)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp white wine
- 1 tomato(s)
- 50 g arugula
- 10 g butter

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into strips, and the onion and tomato into rings. Slowly melt the onion in a little butter. When the onion is nicely browned, stir in the sugar and wine and simmer until the desired consistency is reached. Meanwhile, toast the Maultaschen slices in a pan. Halve the pretzel rolls and top with the Maultaschen, tomato slices, braised onions, and arugula.
