Maultaschen in brunch

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g Maultasche(s)
  • 50 g cream cheese (brunch, paprika pepper)
  • 1 shot of milk
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 sausages (Debreziner)
  • some fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into thick slices and fry them in a pan with a little fat. In the meantime, chop the onion. It doesn’t matter whether you dice them or use rings. Cut the sausage into small pieces and add everything to the Maultaschen and fry them for a while. When the Maultaschen have a nice color, add the brunch and a good splash of milk. Seasoning is unnecessary because of the brunch, which is already quite well seasoned. Let the whole thing get nice and hot and add more milk or brunch to taste. My daughter loves the food and it’s quick and easy to cook herself after school. She always makes it by feel and doesn’t use any specific quantities (so don’t get too hung up on the amounts; that was just an approximate calculation), and it always tastes delicious with a little spice.
