Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 6 Maultaschen (s), ready-made product
- 4 shallots
- 500 ml vegetable stock, possibly instant
- 150 ml white wine
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 tbsp, heaped capers
- 1 tbsp clarified butter
- 200 g cream
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Finely dice the shallots. First, heat the clarified butter in a deep saucepan, then add the capers. Briefly fry, then add the shallots and sauté briefly. Deglaze with wine. Let it reduce slightly, then add the stock, vinegar, and cream and bring to a boil. Add the Maultaschen and heat gently. Season with salt and pepper.
