Maultaschen lasagna

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 Maultaschen
  • 6 lasagna sheets
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • possibly grease for the mold
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 500 ml cream
  • 500 ml broth
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 150 g diced ham
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Dice the onion, fry in oil until translucent, and add the ham cubes. Finely dice or press the garlic clove. Bring to a boil with the cream and stock. Add the mustard, tomato paste, and sour cream, and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the Maultaschen in half along the large surface. Preheat the oven to 220°C (fan oven). Take a medium to large baking dish, grease it if necessary, and spread with a thin layer of sauce. Then layer the lasagna sheets, Maultaschen, and sauce on top. Layer the lasagna sheets and sauce as the final layer. Sprinkle with cheese and place in the oven for about 30 minutes.
