Ham noodle casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g macaroni, broken into small pieces, cooked
  • 340 g ham, diced
  • 150 g cheese, grated, preferably Gouda
  • Salt
  • 2 cups of sour cream, 200 ml each
  • Butter for greasing the mold
  • 2 eggs
  • Grated cheese for sprinkling

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Layer the cooked macaroni, diced ham, grated cheese, salt, and 1 cup of sour cream in a greased casserole dish. Whisk 1 egg with 1 cup of sour cream and pour over the dish. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired. Bake at 175°C (preheated) for 350°F (90°C) for 45 minutes. You can also place the casserole dish in a cold oven, set the oven to 175°C (fan oven), turn off after 45 minutes, and let it stand in the oven for another 15 minutes.
