  • 6 Maultaschen
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 mushrooms
  • 3 slices of bacon

  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

When things need to happen quickly.

Cut the Maultaschen into roughly 1 cm wide pieces. Finely chop the onion. Slice the mushrooms slightly thicker. Heat a little oil in a pan. Add the onions. Tear the bacon slices into rustic pieces and add them. After 1-2 minutes, add the Maultaschen and fry for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. The Maultaschen can get a little crispy. Add the mushrooms and, if desired, broccoli. After 2-3 minutes, deglaze with the cream. Cook the broccoli for 5-8 minutes until cooked through. As soon as you notice that the cream has evaporated, add a little water. Pour the eggs over the top and mix together like scrambled eggs. If desired, season with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt; the bacon is quite salty. Ideal for camping and outdoor trips.
