Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g sausage meat
- 1 egg(s)
- some salt
- 1 tsp butter or margarine
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 roll(s), stale
- e.g. breadcrumbs
- 1 liter of broth
- salt water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Combine butter, salt, garlic, and egg in a bowl. Soak the bread roll in warm water, squeeze out excess water, and add it to the pan. Finally, add the sausage meat and mix well. If the dough is too soft, add a little more breadcrumbs. Using a teaspoon, form small dumplings and place them in boiling salted water. Simmer gently for about 15 minutes. Remove the dumplings and place them in the prepared broth.
