Meat: Lamb and Vegetables from Wok
The perfect meat: lamb and vegetables from wok recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Shoulder of lamb
- 1 piece Fresh ginger
- Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce dark and sweet
- 3 tablespoon Peanut oil
- 0,5 piece Turnip
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1 pole Leek
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 100 g Oyster mushrooms
- Fish sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Peanut oil for frying
- Cut the lamb into pieces suitable for chopsticks. Make a marinade from peanut oil, soy sauce, very finely chopped ginger and pepper and soak the meat in it for approx. 2 – 3 hours (mended for Gabi).
- Clean (peel) the vegetables and cut them into pieces.
- Heat the peanut oil in a wok and first sear the meat in portions. Take out and let rest a little.
- Now stir the carrots and turnips in the wok first, stirring constantly. Then add the onion and leek, cook for about 5 minutes and finally add the mushrooms. Heat again for about 3 minutes.
- Season with fish and soy sauce, salt and pepper. A pinch of lemongrass is also not bad.
- Serve with rice as a side dish.
