Meat Rice
The perfect meat rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 glass Rice parboiled
- 2 Glasses Water
- 150 Size Lamb, grilled
- 150 Size Chicken, grilled
- 1 Tl. Salt
- 3 El. Rapeseed oil
Preface
- I often make this dish when meat remains from the grill or when a piece of meat becomes too dry and we don’t want to eat it.
preparation
- The meat is first cut into small pieces. If there is still bone on the meat, remove it.
- Put the oil in a saucepan and heat. Fry the pieces of meat in it until crispy.
- Add the rice and roast it for about 2 minutes. Then add the water and salt, stir, bring to the boil and switch to the lowest setting. Close the lid and after about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat completely. After another 10 minutes the dish is ready.
- Fruit compote goes well with it.

- This dish can be made with any meat. The amount can sometimes be more or less, it always depends on how much is left. When it comes to rice, it is important that the ratio to water is 1: 2. If the meat was heavily seasoned, I would first use less salt and feel my way. I had a water glass (200ml.)
