Ingredients

Meat sausage:

  • 300 g Delicatessen ham sausage
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Mild curry powder

Roasted onions:

  • 200 g 2 Onions
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Cauliflower:

  • 400 g Cauliflower florets
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chicken broth instant
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 steamer insert
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill

Mashed potatoes:

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Cooking cream
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 big pinch Freshly ground nutmeg

Serve:

  • 2 * ½ vine tomatoes for garnish

Instructions

Meat sausage:

  • Peel off the meat sausage, cut in half lengthways and crossways, fry in a pan with sunflower oil (2 tablespoons) on both sides until golden-brown, sprinkle with curry powder and place in the oven at 50 ° C until serving and keep warm.

Roasted onions:

  • Peel the onions, cut into slices and assemble in rings. Mix the onion rings with flour (2 teaspoons) and sweet paprika (1 teaspoon). Heat a pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp) and butter (1 tbsp), add the onion rings, fry until golden brown / stir fry and degrease on kitchen paper (be careful, because the onion rings can get too dark or burn very quickly / unfortunately for me happens!). Divide the cauliflower into florets and place in a pressure cooker insert. Fill the lower pot with water (1 liter) with salt (1 teaspoon), instant chicken broth (1 teaspoon) and diced garlic clove, put the steamer insert with the lid on it and steam / boil everything for about 15 minutes. Drain, pour the cauliflower into the lower hot saucepan, sprinkle flakes of butter (2 tbsp) over it, season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and toss everything in it.

Mashed potatoes:

  • Peel, wash and dice the potatoes, grind them in salted water (1 teaspoon of salt) with turmeric (1 teaspoon) and cook for about 20 minutes, drain and return the hot pot. Add butter (1 tbsp), cooking cream (4 tbsp), coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches), colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) and freshly ground nutmeg (1 big pinch) and work through well with the potato masher / stamp through.

Serve:

  • Meat sausage with fried onions, cauliflower and mashed potatoes, each garnished with half a vine tomato, serve.
