Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, sliced ​​(e.g. from the previous day), cooked
  • 8 meatballs, halved crosswise
  • 1 onion(s), finely diced
  • 2 packs of mozzarella, diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 ml milk
  • nutmeg
  • 450 g Brussels sprouts, cleaned
  • 125 g bacon, sliced
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk eggs with milk, nutmeg, pepper, and salt. Cook Brussels sprouts for 6 minutes, drain. Layer as follows: potatoes, onions, Brussels sprouts (you can also use broccoli), mozzarella, and meatballs. Pour egg wash over the potatoes and arrange the bacon slices on top. Bake at 180°C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes.
