Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • ½ onion(s), dice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp ginger, grated
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp apricot jam
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine the minced meat, diced onion, cornstarch, sesame seeds, ginger (optional), salt, and pepper in a large bowl and knead thoroughly. Then roll the mixture into small balls. Mix together the jam, soy sauce, wine, and water for the sauce and stir well. Heat a pan with oil and fry the meatballs on medium or low heat until browned on all sides. Then add the sauce and cook on medium heat until thickened. It’s best to put the lid on and shake the pan every now and then to ensure they brown evenly. You can also fry them for longer to ensure they get a really dark color; it depends on your taste.
