Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, half and half (or beef)
- 40 g Parmesan (Grana Padano), grated
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 pinch of nutmeg, grated
- 3 m.-sized onion(s)
- 400 g tomatoes (can)
- ½ jar white wine
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Sauced buns
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash and chop the parsley. In a bowl, combine the minced meat with the Parmesan cheese, egg yolks, garlic, half of the chopped parsley, a little grated nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Form the meat mixture into small 3-cm-diameter balls. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion for 2 minutes. Then add the meatballs and fry on all sides for 10 minutes. Add the white wine and let it reduce (about 5 minutes). Add the tomatoes to the pan, season with salt, and simmer with the lid on for about 15 minutes. Finally, sprinkle the remaining parsley over the meat and serve immediately.
