Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g minced meat, mixed
- 2 m.-large onion(s), (chopped)
- 2 clove(s) garlic, (chopped)
- 1 egg(s) , (M)
- 2 tsp mustard (medium hot)
- 2 tsp spice mix for minced meat
- 1 tsp oregano, shredded
- 5 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 small can of olives, stuffed with chili (85 g)
- 1 tbsp clarified butter, or oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
with olives and garlic
Knead everything together (except for the olives) thoroughly. Drain the olives, quarter them, and knead them loosely into the minced meat mixture. Form the minced meat into “Pflanzerln” (meatballs, meatballs, or whatever you like) and then fry them in a pan with heated lard until crispy brown on all sides. I like this best with potato salad!
