easy and good to prepare, finished in the oven

Press the sausage meat into a bowl. Dice the white bread and onions, add them to the bowl along with all the ingredients for the meatballs, and mix until smooth. If the mixture is too wet, simply add breadcrumbs. Form the meatball mixture into meatballs and fry in a pan until browned on both sides. They don’t need to be fully cooked! Then place the meatballs in a casserole dish. For the sauce, add the cream, spices, and stock to the meat juices in the pan and bring to a boil briefly. Pour the cream over the meatballs in the casserole dish and finish cooking in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes. Cranberries and homemade fries go well with the sauce.
