Meatballs with Pointed Cabbage

The perfect meatballs with pointed cabbage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 disc Toast
  • 0,5 Fresh onion
  • 150 g Minced meat
  • 1 Egg
  • Some cumin
  • Pepper and salt
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Fat for frying
  • 0,5 Fresh onion

  • 100 g Diced frozen carrots
  • 0,5 Pointed cabbage fresh
  • Pepper and salt
  1. Soak the toast in water. Peel onion and chop finely. Squeeze out the toast. Mix with the minced meat, onion, egg and caraway seeds. Season well with pepper and salt. Shape small meatballs, turn in breadcrumbs and fry in hot fat.
  2. Peel the onion and chop it roughly. Remove the stalk and outer leaves from the pointed cabbage. Cut and wash.
  3. Steam the onion in hot fat until translucent. Sweat the carrots briefly. Add the pointed cabbage dripping wet. Steam for about 15 minutes. Always stir. Season with pepper and salt. Put the meatballs back in the pan.
  4. Arrange the meatballs with pointed cabbage on plates. Serve with boiled potatoes.
