Meatloaf in paprika cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g meatloaf
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 250 ml broth
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the meatloaf in the pan, remove it from the pan, and keep it warm. Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Heat the butter in the pan and slowly fry the onion and garlic. Add the flour and deglaze with the broth and cream. Add the tomato paste and paprika and season with salt and pepper. Add the meatloaf back in. Serve with rice or spaetzle. Tip: I sometimes add cayenne pepper or use hot paprika.
