Mediterranean pan with feta cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g minced beef
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 shot of sherry
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of Provence herbs
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onion and dice it into small pieces. Wash, trim, and dice the bell pepper. Fry the diced onions in oil in a large pan until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly and gray. Add the bell pepper pieces to the pan and deglaze with the sherry. Crumble the feta cheese over the top and heat through. Finally, stir in the tomatoes, bring to a boil, and season with herbs, pepper, and salt. Serve with rice or pasta.
