Smoky, hearty and super delicious

Toast the bread. Take the large slices. Spread mayonnaise on one side of four slices. Place a slice of cheese on two of them. Place the tomato in the middle. Cover with the other slices of bread so that the mayonnaise side is on the tomato. Now spread the top side with mayonnaise as well, but only a very small amount. Arrange the cucumber slices on top. Fry the bacon until crispy and place five slices on top of each cucumber. Top with the onion rings and spread the barbecue sauce on top, if desired. Then place the last two slices of bread on the two sandwiches and cut them diagonally once.
