Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small baguette(s)
  • 375 g minced meat (half & half)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 large onion(s), diced
  • Tomato paste
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda), young, diced
  • 2 red bell peppers, cut into rings
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 slices of Gouda cheese, cut into triangles
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the baguette lengthwise and spread with butter. Knead the minced meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, onions, spices, and tomato paste. Finally, mix in the diced Gouda cheese. Top both halves with the meat mixture. Brown in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for approximately 12 minutes. Then top the bread with the bell pepper rings, tomato slices, and Gouda triangles. Bake briefly again until the cheese has melted. Enjoy.
