Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g melon(s) (cantaloupe melon)
  • 200 g strawberries
  • 800 g gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 1 pack of Gelfix Extra 2:1 (= 25 g)
  • ½ tsp vanilla, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 34 minutes

Cantaloupe melon with strawberry

Puree the melon pieces and strawberries, mix with the gelling sugar and vanilla powder, and let the mixture sit for about 1-2 hours. Now stir in the sachet of Gelfix, bring the mixture to a boil, and simmer for 4 minutes. Immediately pour the hot jam into prepared jars. This quantity makes approximately 4 jars.
