Melon and shrimp in spicy cinnamon cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ melon(s) (cantaloupe), diced
  • 250 g mushrooms, quartered
  • 250 g broccoli
  • 50 g shrimp(s), frozen, prepared
  • 75 ml chicken broth
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the mushrooms and broccoli in the broth until al dente. Stir in the cream and bring to a boil. Add the cinnamon, sambal oelek, and fish sauce, and let it simmer for a while. Finally, add the melon cubes and the frozen shrimp and let it simmer briefly on the stovetop over low heat. Serve with bulgur, spelt, or brown rice.
