Melon salad with cress and sesame

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg melon(s) (watermelon), chilled
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 100 g cress, alternatively rocket
  • 3 tbsp, levelled lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 3 pinches of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Remove the melon flesh from the skin and cut into small cubes (removing the seeds if necessary). Rinse and sort the cress. Then mix the melon cubes and cress. For the dressing, whisk together the lemon juice, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and oil. Then drizzle the dressing over the salad. Finally, toast the sesame seeds in a pan and sprinkle over the salad. Serve the salad as soon as possible.
