Melon Salad with Feta
The perfect melon salad with feta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,5 piece Watermelon
- 0,5 piece Honeydew melon
- 0,5 piece Cantaloupe melon
- 0,5 piece Galia melon
- 0,5 piece Piel de Sapo melon
- 0,5 piece Cucumber
- 200 g Feta
- 5 Stalk Basil
- 4 piece Spring onion
- Catalan salt
- Pepper
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1 piece Lemon fresh
- 2 tbsp Balsamic bianco
- 4 tbsp Linseed oil
- First of all: The information relates to mini melons!
- Peel and core the melons and cut into bite-sized cubes. Wash the cucumber and cut into cubes. Cut the spring onion (with the green) into fine rings. Cut the feta into fine cubes.
- Put everything in a bowl. Finely pluck or cut the basil and add.
- Squeeze the lemon and mix with the rest of the ingredients to make a marinade, pour over the salad and mix gently. Serve immediately.
- Also an ideal accompaniment to the barbecue.
- The linseed oil should be of good quality, not the stuff from the supermarket. It gives a nutty note. If you don’t like it, you can also use a good olive oil.
