Melon slices with strawberry sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ Galia melon, Charentais melon or mixed
  • 250 g strawberries
  • some ginger, peeled, grated
  • some agave syrup
  • some cinnamon powder
  • some cardamom powder
  • possibly berries
  • possibly lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

quick, summery everyday dessert

Peel the melon, remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into wedges. Wash and hull the strawberries, coarsely chop them, and puree them with the ginger in a blender. Pass the strawberry puree through a fine sieve. Season with cinnamon, cardamom, and agave syrup. Serve the melon slices with the strawberry sauce. Garnish with some berries and lemon balm, if desired.
