Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 4 garlic cloves, squeezed
  • 3 tbsp cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp curry
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 2 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Minced meat on a skewer

First, halve 5 wooden skewers (you will need 10 x 12 cm skewers), rub them with oil, and set them aside. Place all the ingredients in a bowl, knead well, and season with salt and pepper. Shape the minced meat into oval dumplings (approx. 7-8 cm) and insert a wooden skewer into each dumpling. The wooden skewer should not come out the other side. There is enough minced meat for 10 skewers. Place the minced meat lollipops on the grill or on a rack lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 175°C fan/convection oven or 200°C top/bottom heat. It shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes on the grill. Potato wedges and a fresh salad go very well with the minced meat lollipops. For the sauce, serve garlic yogurt sauce.
