Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 avocados, ripe
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 small onion(s), very finely chopped
  • some Tabasco
  • Salt
  • Crackers or toast

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as an aperitif on crackers or toast

Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh from the skins with a spoon. Puree with the onion and the juice of one lime. Mix with cayenne pepper, salt, and a few dashes of Tabasco until smooth. Spread on crackers or toasted bread and serve with an aperitif or beer.
