Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 250 g kidney beans (can)
- 125 g corn (can)
- 200 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 tbsp oil (olive oil)
- 1 bag of ready-made mix for chili con carne
- 2 spring onions
- 4 baguettes
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Dice the bell pepper. Place the beans and corn in a sieve, rinse briefly, and let drain. Brown the minced meat in hot fat until crumbly. Add the diced bell peppers and sauté. Pour in 250 ml of water and stir in the contents of the chili con carne sachet. Add the beans and corn and bring to a boil, stirring. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Rinse the spring onions, trim them, and finely slice them. Cut the tops off each baguette and hollow out the bottoms. Fill the rolls with the chili con carne and garnish with spring onion rings. Serve hot.
