Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 g sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 600 g apples, peeled, pitted
  • 50 ml Calvados
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 125 g powdered sugar

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, cut the peeled and cleaned apples into small pieces and marinate them with the Calvados. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Then mix the ingredients for the pastry and pour into a springform pan lined with baking paper. Smooth the surface. For the filling, beat the egg whites of the three eggs until stiff peaks. Mix the butter with the egg yolks, add the powdered sugar and pudding powder. Carefully fold in the egg whites and apple pieces. Spread the cream over the pastry and smooth it down. Bake the cake on the middle rack for about 50 minutes. Then let it cool completely. Make a glaze from the powdered sugar and water and spread it over the cake as desired.
