Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 egg yolks, very fresh
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 600 ml cream
  • 400 ml vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, beat the egg yolks and powdered sugar in a mixer until smooth, then gradually add the cream and the scraped vanilla seeds to the mixture. Finally, slowly stir in the vodka. Bottle and refrigerate for at least a week. Shake the mixture well every now and then to prevent the bottle neck from clogging. The eggnog is quite mild. If you prefer a stronger flavor, use 500-600 ml of vodka.
