Millet breakfast porridge

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup millet
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tsp honey or agave syrup
  • some raisins
  • 100 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 50 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with apples, dairy-free

Wash the millet and bring it to a boil with the water and salt. Meanwhile, coarsely grate the apple. Once the millet is boiling, reduce the heat to low. Stir in the grated apple and honey. Let it swell for a few minutes, then add the raisins and stir in the soy milk. Let it swell for a few more minutes. Finally, sprinkle the flaked almonds on top.
