Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 apples
- 180 ml milk
- 80 g low-fat curd cheese
- 150 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar, for sprinkling
- Butter for the mold

delicious quark pastry with apples
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Core the apples and cut into thin slices. Whisk the milk, quark, and flour until smooth. Separate the eggs, add the egg yolks to the quark mixture, and whisk well again. Beat the egg whites with salt and sugar until stiff peaks and carefully fold into the quark mixture. Butter a large, shallow dish or several small dishes and spread the Schmarren mixture into them. Top with the apple slices and sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and serve while still warm.
