Millet Patties

The perfect millet patties recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 80 g Millet
  • 60 g Wheat
  • 1 Pc. Chopped onion
  • 1 Pc. Chopped garlic
  • 2 Pc. Free range eggs
  • 50 gr Grated cheese
  • Seasonal herbs
  • Salt + pepper
  1. Bring the millet to the boil with 240 g water and let it soak for about 20 minutes with the lid closed.
  2. Let cool and mix with the ground wheat, onion, garlic, herbs, eggs and cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Form 8 patties from the dough with wet hands and fry for about 5 minutes on each side over moderate heat.
  4. I like to serve with seasonal salads or a vegetable dish.
