Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup plums (dried plums)
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 cups dumpling bread (bread cubes)
  • 2 medium-sized egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp sugar (granulated sugar)
  • 2 sheets of strudel dough, pulled, store-bought
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Mix the cream with the egg yolks and a spoonful of sugar. Place the strudel dough on top and spread with the mixture. Sprinkle with raisins, finely chopped dried plums, breadcrumbs, the remaining sugar, and a little cinnamon, and roll up. Bake in the oven at 160°C (320°F) for approximately 15-20 minutes. Heat the milk with the vanilla sugar and pour over the strudel after baking.
