Minced meat and pasta pot

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g minced meat
  • ½ tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 750 ml water, more if necessary
  • 2 tsp, heaped stock, granulated
  • 500 g pasta (spirelli)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 bunch curly parsley, chopped

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onion and sauté in a large pot with the oil until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add water, mustard, and granulated stock, and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and simmer for 15 minutes with the lid on and on low heat, adding more water if necessary. The pasta should absorb almost all of the water; it shouldn’t float. When the pasta is cooked, stir in the sour cream and chopped parsley. Season to taste. To use up leftovers, you can of course add any kind of vegetables, but these should be cooked with the onions and minced meat first.
