Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large baguette(s)
  • 1 large tomato(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Knead thoroughly with the minced meat, spices, and egg yolk. Form the minced meat mixture into long rolls, thread them onto wooden skewers, and brush with olive oil. Grill on a hot grill for about 10 minutes until crispy on all sides. Meanwhile, cut the baguette into four pieces. Slice the tomato. Place a skewer and a tomato slice into each piece of baguette. Garnish with herbs, if desired. Serve with fries, rice, fried potatoes, and tzatziki.
