Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Fried minced meat with corn, also called baked nachos
Heat a pan, dissolve the seasoning mix in a cup of water. Add the ground beef to the pan, break it up, and fry. After 2 minutes, add the seasoning mix and stir in. Now add the corn and, if desired, additional diced onion and bell peppers and chili powder. Then add the salsa and, if desired, thin it out with a little water if it has cooked down too much. After another 2 minutes, turn off the heat. Stir a handful of taco chips into the ground beef mixture. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit). Sprinkle a handful of cheese on the bottom of a baking dish. Place a layer of taco chips on top. Spread one-third of the ground beef taco mix over the first layer of taco chips. Then add a layer of shredded cheese. Spread the remaining taco chips on top. Pour the rest of the ground beef taco mix over the top. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and place in the oven for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is lightly browned. Then enjoy with your hands or a spoon. This dish makes a great party snack or for a cozy TV night.
