Minced Meat with Mashed Potatoes

Minced meat with mashed potatoes

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Shallot
  • 2 Cups (small) Gravy
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • Salt, gourmet pepper
  • Marjoram dried to taste
  • 2 Gherkins

Mashed potatoes

  • 500 g Floury potatoes
  • 100 ml Lukewarm cream
  • Salt
  • 1 piece Butter
  • Nutmeg to taste and taste

Hacked

  1. Slice carrots, then dice. Peel and finely chop shallot. Place in a pan with minced beef and fry until crumbly without fat. Peel the clove of garlic and add pressed. Season with salt, gourmet pepper & marjoram.
  2. Stir and deglaze with the meat stock. Shift down and let simmer for a few minutes. Chop the two pickles and add them as well.

Mashed potatoes

  1. In the meantime, peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces and put them in a saucepan with water. Bring to the boil, turn down the power and cook for a quarter of an hour. Then pour off with a pounder and mash in lukewarm cream.
  2. Mash again, then stir with a spoon, add salted nutmeg. Put a piece of butter in and melt it in the closed lid. Then stir again.

Serving

  1. Take several plates and first put the mashed potatoes in the middle. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Then put the minced meat on top and serve immediately.
