Pasta with Day Lily Sauce

The perfect pasta with day lily sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 10 Pc. Daylily leaves
  • 100 g Bacon cubes
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Vegetable broth
  • 1 deciliter Water
  • 1 tablespoon White flour
  • 2 deciliter Milk
  • 400 g Pasta
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  1. Wash the daylily leaves and cut into thin strips.
  2. Fry the bacon cubes in a little olive oil.
  3. Add the daylily leaves and let simmer briefly.
  4. Add the vegetable stock and deglaze with water. Cover and steam over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, prepare the pasta until al dente.
  6. Add flour to the daylily leaves, mix well.
  7. Add milk and stir well. Simmer briefly while stirring.
  8. Mix with the finished pasta and serve.
