Minced meat with pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced beef
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 liter meat broth or vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 400 g Hörnli (pasta)
  • 50 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat a little oil in a frying pan and add two finely chopped onions and a crushed garlic clove. Then add the minced beef and brown. Dust the whole thing with flour and season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with the meat or vegetable stock, stir well, and bring to a boil. Add the bay leaf, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta until al dente and drain. Then remove the bay leaf and add the pasta. Mix well, cover, and simmer for another 12-15 minutes. Serve with grated cheese.
