Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 small baguette rolls for baking
  • 6 small Vienna sausages
  • 6 slices of processed cheese

Preheat the oven to 200°C. In the meantime, prepare the hot dogs. Cut a wedge-shaped slit into the buns and remove the wedges. Place the sausages in this hollow with a slice of processed cheese. It’s best to wrap the sausages in the processed cheese beforehand. Bake the buns on the middle rack at 200°C for about 8-10 minutes, until browned. You can use the baking times and settings for pre-made buns as a guide. A quick and easy dish for a child’s birthday party or as a snack in front of the TV. The good thing about this recipe is that the pre-baked buns and sausages are available in packs of 6 at a reasonable price in almost every supermarket.
