Ingredients for 15 servings:

  • 3 pieces of bratwurst
  • 200 g cheese, young Gouda (approx. 2.5 slices 5 mm thick)
  • 200 g bacon (approx. 15 slices)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

ideal for grilling

Cut the bratwurst into slices (approx. 6 mm thick). Cut out the cheese into equal-sized circles. Then stack the sausage, cheese, sausage, cheese, and sausage and secure them with a toothpick. Wrap the skewer lengthwise with bacon (it’s best to secure it again at the toothpick ends). Grill for about 10 minutes (depending on how crispy you want the bacon).
