Minute schnitzel in orange cream sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 small schnitzels (minute schnitzels)
  • 1 liter orange juice
  • 1 liter of cream
  • Cinnamon
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Season the schnitzels with salt and pepper and sear them in a little oil. Set the fried schnitzels aside. Now add the orange juice to the pan, sprinkle with cinnamon, bring to a boil, and let it reduce for about 15 minutes. Then add the cream and let it simmer gently for a while and reduce. Once the sauce has thickened a bit, season with salt and pepper, add the schnitzels, heat briefly, and serve immediately. We always serve it with gnocchi and salad. Tip: The dish tastes best reheated the next day.
