Mirabelle Compote with Apple

The perfect mirabelle compote with apple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1500 g Mirabelle plums
  • 400 g Small sour apples
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 3: 1
  • 100 g Cane sugar
  • 1,5 piece Lime
  • 4 cl Amaretto
  • 1 teaspoon Cinammon
  1. Stone the mirabelle plums, peel the apples and cut into pieces. Weigh fruit now! Then everything in one big pot
  1. Add cinnamon, lime juice and amaretto and fill up with water. Bring to the boil, then turn the stove down and let simmer for a while.
  1. Add cane sugar and preserving sugar and let thicken a little.
