Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 small chili pepper(s), fresh and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- little salt or flavoring
- oregano
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
perfect with salad!
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit). Cut the puff pastry into 8 strips. Mix the mustard with the sambal oelek and season with salt or aromatics and pepper. Finely chop the chili pepper. Spread the mustard mixture over the puff pastry strips and scatter the chili pieces on top. Then place a slice of bacon on each strip and fold in the remaining puff pastry edges on the left and right sides. Then twist the strips into a spiral, sprinkle with a little oregano, and bake in the oven until golden brown. Perfect with a fresh salad.
