Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Cut the meat into approximately 1 cm cubes, removing any fat as needed. Then place the pressure cooker on the stove (highest heat) with a generous splash of oil. Brown the meat vigorously on all sides. Roughly dice the onions, bell peppers, and garlic and add to the meat. Season with salt, pepper, and hot paprika, and add tomato paste. Stir again and add water until everything is covered. Then seal the pot and cook on level 2 for about 20-30 minutes. After the cooking time, open the pot according to the instructions. Mix 1-2 tablespoons of flour and sweet paprika in a small cup until the flour turns red. Then add some of the sauce and stir until no lumps remain. Return to the pot and stir. Simmer for a few minutes. If the sauce isn’t thick enough, repeat the process. Season again with salt, pepper, paprika, and a little milk or cream, and you’re done. Tip: If you let the goulash simmer for a while, it tastes even better. Potatoes, pasta, and rice are great side dishes.
