Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour (rye flour)
  • 300 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
  • 30 g yeast, fresh
  • ½ liter of lukewarm water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

without sourdough

Dissolve the yeast in a little water (skimmed off the half liter). Combine the finely ground rye and wheat flour in a mixing bowl and stir all ingredients together. Let the dough rise for one hour, then knead again. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about one hour. Tip: A heatproof bowl of water in the oven helps the dough rise better.
