Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g flour
- 100 g cornstarch
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg(s), including the yolk
- 175 butter
- 2 tsp instant coffee
- 1 tsp rum, but not necessary
- 50 g white chocolate coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Mix the flour, cornstarch, cocoa, baking powder, and powdered sugar in a bowl. Dissolve the instant coffee in a little hot water and add it to the mixture along with the egg yolk and butter. Quickly knead it into a dough and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Then shape the dough into 2 cm long coffee beans. To do this, form the dough into a long log and cut off pieces about 2 cm long. Roll these briefly so that they look like larger coffee beans. Then press briefly in the middle with a butter knife. Bake these coffee beans at 200°C for about 10 to 12 minutes. Once cooled, decorate with white chocolate coating. I always use a small freezer bag and cut off a small corner.
