Mon Cheri Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g sour cherries (frozen)
  • 250 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 5 pieces of confectionery (Mon Cheri)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

makes about 5 glasses

Prepare the jam with the sour cherries and preserving sugar according to the package instructions. Pour into small jars. The Mon Cheri will melt in the still-hot jam, releasing its flavor. Close the jars and turn them upside down for a few minutes. I always make the jam in the Thermomix. I chop the fruit on speed 8. I don’t usually like Mon Cheri, but this jam is great.
